There are three ways to nominate someone to the LCBA Board of Directors – nominate yourself, nominate someone else and nomination by the Governance Committee of the Board of Directors

If you nominate yourself or someone else our bylaws require a petition to be submitted to the Secretary of the Association. This petition must list the full name and address of the nominee and must be signed by at least 20 adult benefit members in good standing.

The nominee must sign an “Acceptance Statement” and supply some basic information about her/himself. The responsibilities of a board member are explained in the “LCBA Board of Directors Statement of Purpose”. This statement and the forms needed to submit a nomination – the “Nomination Petition Form” and the “Nominee Data and Acceptance Statement” – are found below for you to print out and use.
