Outstanding Young Citizens Award

Overview The Outstanding Young Citizens Award program is an effort to help Orthodox and Trinitarian Christian youth, as well as outstanding young Orthodox Division members/descendants get a head start with their higher education needs. There are a total of nine (9) awards given. Three in each of the following age categories: 7-9, 10-12 and 13-15. Each award consists of a $300 Flexible Premium Annuity. Awards will be based on community service and grades; as well as Church, cultural and school achievements and activities. Eligibility Requirements Applicant must be between the ages of 7 to 15 years of age by August 31 of award year. Applicant must be one of the following: An Orthodox or Trinitarian Christian, An Orthodox Division Member or a descendant of an Orthodox Division Member. All questions must be answered, failure to do so will automatically disqualify application. Applicant must enclose/have sent an official transcript of grades from current school attending. Applicant must include photo with the application. Applications must be postmarked no later than August 31. The award annuity may not be cash surrendered until the completion of high school. Funds of $25 or more may be added at any time. Each individual student may win only one award in each age group.
