As Chief Operating Officer for the Diocese of Buffalo, Rick oversees all temporal matters for the Diocese including the navigation of its complex Chapter 11 filing. A former banker, Rick has extensive experience in finance, as well as in estate and retirement planning. That work required the use of life insurance and securities products, so Rick was licensed for insurance and security sales in both New York and Pennsylvania. His experience brings added insight to the LCBA board. LCBA is in Rick’s blood – his grandmother and godmother were directors and instrumental in running the Buffalo chapter. As a third-generation policy holder, he has been proudly associated with the LCBA for 64 years, when his parents purchased an infant policy on his life. Rick and his wife Donna (also a policy holder) are lifelong residents of Buffalo, NY and are the proud parents of three adult children, all of whom are fourth generation LCBA policy holders and who have been beneficiaries of LCBA’s elementary, high school, and camping scholarships. Rick looks forward to a day soon when his grandson can become a fifth-generation member of the LCBA so he too can enjoy the benefits of association with this great organization.
